Rocky Mountain State Games


 

The Rocky Mountain State Games (RMSG) is a multi-sport festival for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities including those with physical disabilities or visual impairment. Recognized by the National Congress of State Games, a member of the United States Olympic Committee, the 2017 Rocky Mountain State Games will be held July 21-23 & 28-30, primarily in Colorado Springs, CO.

The 
Rocky Mountain State Games is excited to announce its partnership with the Rocky Mountain Senior Games to co-host 10 Senior Games sports in conjunction with State Games competitions and grow participation in senior and master divisions for athletes ages 50+ years old. To register for archery, badminton, billiards, disc golf, indoor volleyball, racquetball, swimming, table tennis, or track & field, click on the specific sport link below. The State Games concept was developed in New York in 1978 with the Empire State Games. Annually, more than 400,000 athletes compete in State Games nationwide. State Games feature various sports from the Olympic and Pan American Games programs as well as sports with regional popularity in each state. 


The Rocky Mountain State Games has partnered with TrueSport, a program powered by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency to teach athletes the values and life lessons learned through sport. TrueSport seeks to ensure a positive youth experience by educating athletes, parents and coaches about clean competition, sportsmanship, and peak performance.
