2017 State Games of America

August 3 - 6, 2017 

A property of the National Congress of State Games, the State Games of America is a biennial amateur multi-sport event for athletes of all ages. Medal winners from the 31 states conducting statewide sports festivals, known as State Games, are eligible for this event. The 2017 State Games of America will be hosted in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 3-6.

State Games athletes compete in Olympic or Pan American sports as well as a variety of local favorites. A complete list of qualifying sports will be released in early 2016. 

Medal winners in the following sports from the 2015 & 2016 Rocky Mountain State Games will qualify for the 2017 SGA.  This event will be hosted by the Meijer State Games of Michigan.
