July 28 - August 2, 2015

A property of the National Congress of State Games, the State Games of America is a biennial amateur multi-sport event for athletes of all ages. Medal winners from the 31 states conducting statewide sports festivals, known as State Games, are eligible for this event. The 2015 State Games of America will be hosted in Lincoln, Nebraksa on July 28 - August 2.

State Games athletes compete in Olympic or Pan American sports as well as a variety of local favorites. The 2015 SGA will include 60+ events and some of the best amateur sports competition in the U.S.

Medal winners in the following sports from the 2013 & 2014 Rocky Mountain State Games have qualified for the 2015 SGA.  Arm Wrestling has been designated as a "developing" sport thus all participants in the 2013 & 2014 RMSG are eligible to compete in the 2015 SGA.  This event will be hosted by the Nebraska Sports Council and the Lincoln Convention & Visitors Bureau.

2017 State Games of America

Grand Rapids, Michigan

August 3 - 6, 2017 

A property of the National Congress of State Games, the State Games of America is a biennial amateur multi-sport event for athletes of all ages. Medal winners from the 31 states conducting statewide sports festivals, known as State Games, are eligible for this event. The 2017 State Games of America will be hosted in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 3-6.

State Games athletes compete in Olympic or Pan American sports as well as a variety of local favorites. A complete list of qualifying sports will be released October, 2015. 

Medal winners in the following sports from the 2015 & 2016 Rocky Mountain State Games have qualified for the 2017 SGA.  This event will be hosted by the Meijer State Games of Michigan.
