General Information

Referred to as “America’s Race,” the USA Pro Challenge will take place August 18-24, 2014. For seven consecutive days, the world’s top athletes race through the majestic Colorado Rockies, reaching higher altitudes than they’ve ever had to endure.

One of the largest cycling events in U.S. history and the largest spectator event in the history of the state, the USA Pro Challenge is back for 2014. Featuring a challenging course, the fourth annual race will spotlight the best of the best in professional cycling and some of America’s most beautiful scenery.

Stage 1: Aspen
Stage 2: Aspen - Crested Butte
Stage 3: Gunnison - Monarch Mountain
Stage 4: Colorado Springs
Stage 5: Woodland Park - Breckenridge
Stage 6: Vail
Stage 7: Boulder - Denver

Stage 4 in Colorado Springs will be a circuit race with the entire route, including the start and finish, within the city limits of Colorado Springs.

 

Stage 4 Gala - The Broadmoor Hotel (One Lake Avenue, Colorado Springs)

Celebrate the excitement of the USA Pro Challenge - Stage 4 with some of the top riders in the world and the most well-known voices in the sport of cycling with a special evening at The Broadmoor.

6:00 - 7:00 pm: VIP Reception at The Penrose Heritage Museum (next to Broadmoor Hall) - $250 per person

Enjoy cocktails and light appetizers with Phil Liggett, universally known as “the voice of cycling”, and Paul Sherwen, an expert cycling analyst for the Tour de France, Tour of California and USA Pro Challenge, to celebrate the excitement of Stage 4 at an exclusive VIP reception before heading to The Broadmoor for a three course dinner and Q&A with some of the top riders in the sport. (Dinner in Broadmoor Hall). 

 
6:30 - 8:30 pm: 2014 USA Pro Challenge - Stage 4 Gala - $150 per person
     
Enjoy a three course dinner at The Broadmoor with NBC highlights and live commentary from Paul Sherwen and Phil Liggett as they conduct a Q&A with some of the top riders in the sport. (Dinner in Broadmoor Hall)
