To create a world-class event that drives economic impact to the area in order to improve the trails and open space in the Pikes Peak region for the lasting enjoyment of its residents and visitors.
The VISION
To make Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region an internationally recognized endurance sports destination.
The Pikes Peak APEX is a project of The Colorado Springs Sports Corp with a mission to inspire and advance Colorado Springs, Olympic City USA, and the Pikes Peak Region through sport and community events. The event is a fundraiser for the PPORA Trail Stewardship Fund which has raised over $40,000 since 2020, all of which has been put back into the trails in the Pikes Peak region.

The APEX has single day registration options in addition to the 3-day mountain bike challenge registration! You will have to decide between the 3-day MTB race and the gravel race as those two overlap on Sunday. Additional details on all registration options can be found below or by clicking HERE.

- Friday MTB TT $59, Queen of the Canyons Gravel Race $99 and $129
- 3-Day ($25 off for all riders under 23)
- December 1- January 1: $295
- January 1-April 1: $345
- April 1-Race Day: $395
REFUND POLICY:
* Refund requests will be accepted up to April 1, 2025. We will give a refund in the amount of 90% of your registration payment not including the BikeReg service fees.
* After April 1 we will not give refunds, but until May 10 you may choose to defer 90% of your paid entry as credit toward the 2026 event.
* After May 10, 2025 the only cancellation option will be to put 50% of your entry fee toward a 2026 entry fee (you must email us for this to happen).
* You may transfer your registration to another rider until May 10, 2025. There will be a $20 transfer fee.

This world-class event drives economic impact to the area to fund the improvement of trails and open space in the Pikes Peak region for the lasting enjoyment of residents and visitors.
Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance is a collaborative of outdoor businesses, nonprofits, government entities, and individuals who recognize the value of our region’s natural and recreation assets to our community both as an economic driver and for our health and well-being and the strength found in working together. PPORA’s mission is to strengthen the outdoor recreation industry for the Pikes Peak region through leadership and collaboration.
