Tournament Competition Format: All pitchers will pitch 40 shoes. Each "Ringer" will count as 3 points and each "Close" will equal 1 point.  "Dead Ringers" will cancel out. The player with the highest score wins. Men will pitch at the 40 foot line and women will pitch at the 30 foot line. Junior Boys and Girls pitch from less than 40 feet and observe the 27 foot line until the year that they are 18 for the entire calendar year. After this age, junior boys move into the Men’s Division and observe the 37 foot foul line while Junior Girls move into the Women’s Division and still observe the 27 foot foul line. Cadets are juniors up to the age of 12 for the entire calendar year and they pitch at a distance of 20 foot along with junior boys or girls. These pitchers are able to advance to the 27 foot Junior Division at any time, and observe the appropriate foul line but they may not return to the Cadet Division once they have declared themselves a Junior.
