PARTICIPANT ENTRY FEES AND DEADLINES

Military Support Program: 
The Military Support Program has been created to allow active duty and retired service members, their spouses and dependents to participate in the Rocky Mountain State Games with up to a 50% discount off the normal registration fees. *Seniors who graduate Spring 2019 are still eligible to play in high school division.

**Teams registered in the wrong division are required to make the correction by 5:00 pm on July 9. SoCo will not re-schedule the team in the proper division once the competitions schedules are set and in place.**

Competition Rules and Format:

For complete SoCo policies, please CLICK HERE.  Coaches must complete the team roster/waiver form and can be submitted to the RMSG office in advance but must be turned in to the RMSG Commissioner prior to your team's first game. Teams who do not submit a complete roster prior to their first game is subject to forfeit. Roster is limited to 12 players. Game must begin with 5 players within 5 minutes of scheduled game time.  Personnel NOT listed on the roster are not allowed in team bench areas.  Any protests MUST be made before the game starts and MUST be submitted in writing to the Commissioner.  Teams must be gender-specific and players may participate on only one team per division.  Coaches must provide proof of grade for all players, upon request from the Commissioners. 
 

Teams will be guaranteed four games.  The tournament will be a round robin format followed by a single elimination tournament (no 3rd place game will be played).  Rocky Mountain State Games reserves the right to expand, combine, cap or cancel divisions based on total number of entries. Registration will be closed for each division as it meets capacity. All divisions will be closed for registration by the registration deadline listed above.

Each team will be required to provide either a score keeper or a timer for each game.

General Information:
The RMSG has a zero tolerance policy.  Commissioners reserve the right to suspend and or have teams forfeit play for unsportsmanlike conduct from players, coaches or spectators.  Unsportsmanlike conduct resulting in any type of altercation on the court , the venue grounds, etc., will result in a team disqualification for the entire tournament with no refund.  Spectators affiliated with the teams are responsible for knowing and adhering to the rules and policies of the tournament.  It is the responsibility of the coaches to control their team and their spectators. 
 
Dress Code:  
Each team must wear a matching, numbered jersey or t-shirt.

Admissions: Athletes and up to two coaches and one score keeper from each team receive free admission (passes will be included in coaches registration packets) but spectators will be charged for the following sports: Basketball and Track & Field. Daily admission fees: Adults (13 & over): $5. Youth 12 & under are admitted free. Weekend Pass: $12.
