Colorado Springs, CO — Take part in the 2023 Pikes Peak APEX Trail Run presented by SCHEELS on Sunday, September 10!
The Pikes Peak APEX Trail Run consists of a 5K and 10K race and is an awesome way to get involved with the APEX outside of the mountain bike challenge. The Trail Run gives participants an opportunity to experience some incredible Colorado Springs trails!
About the 10K: 10K runners will start at 9:00am (tentative) in America the Beautiful Park and head into Bear Creek Regional Park for a trail loop before returning to the finish line. Bear Creek offers all dirt trails and approximately 500 feet of climbing.
About the 5K: 5K runners will start at 9:15am (tentative) and head on a speedy out and back up the Pikes Peak Greenway. This is a fast course for those who want to run hard, as well as for those who want to have fun and be a part of the festivities! The 5K course is family and stroller friendly! 
Awards will be given to the top three women and trop three men overall in each race category. The best part? All racers will receive a t-shirt and complimentary beer at the festival after the race and enjoy a day full of activities that celebrate outdoor recreation!
